They could have used a few defensive players last year.

LSU went 95 yards down the field in like 5 plays that first drive and everyone in the stadium let out a collective oh shite.

I mean it sucked but it wasn't a shock. We let South Carolina do shite like that.

I liked when Tua handed the ball over to Burrow like he did the Heisman.

Y’all gave up 41 to Bama right?

Think we both could’ve stood a little help on that side of the ball. Somebody check on Stingley, he’s the only guy in the stadium that day that got whipped worse than Diggs

Stingley did fine.

The clap play got him

Press coverage got him

And the same LA boys that got yall, got him too

Can you regale us with the tale of how Burrow would be the third QB taken in the 2017 stat again?

I love tall tales

When it's all said and done, that might be the most offensive talent that has ever been on a field when it comes to high NFL picks. Bama will have had a top 5 QB pick and probably 4 1st round WRs (with Najee Harris probably being a 2nd rounder at worst and potentially a 1st rounder) and LSU will have had the top NFL pick at QB, a 1st round RB and probably 3 1st round WRs who played in the game.

The son of Randy Moss abusing the son of Stefon Diggs was one of the most underrated moments of the season

Not to mention Wills, Cushenberry, Leatherwood, D. Lewis, Moss, etc

It’s like the anti 9-6 game. Defensive talent everywhere (there were some offensive ballers also).

Interestingly, both in Tuscaloosa, both LSU wins, and the only two LSU wins in the span between those games.

Pretty big part of playing man coverage on the boundary

This is the only place on the internet that thinks altering your cadence is a gimmick play. It’s been going on since the invention of the sport, and it happens at the peewee level

It’s about frickin time chief. Everybody deserves that one time down cherry hill

That's a pretty good parallel. Those offenses had NFL dudes on them, just not nearly as many as the defenses.

This was the flip side.

He didn’t abuse anyone. That was great coverage and a better catch. Learn the game
