I'm OK with that logic. Really.

I just don't like double standards.

And you can't use 2007 to 2008 as an example because Saban was going from year 1 to year 2, which almost always has the biggest improvement with good coaches.

Also, and people seem to forget this, Alabama's 2008 schedule was pretty easy.

Let's try for the third time. Try not to dodge the questions again.

1) How many sacks does overrated Dareus end up with on the year

2) When does overrated Dareus get drafted after his disappointing season?

1. 2.5

2. UDFA

uh oh better make a prediction now, this gump believes courage comes from making predictions. of course he still lives at home and uses the baby knife as well. he shows his courage by coming to a message board to make outlandish predictions.

Here slayer to answer your question

Florida lost some key players on offense and defense
Alabama lost some key players on defense

Defense is easier to replace and Saban has a reputation has a defensive genius. While Alabama should slump a bit on defense their offense should improve as McElroy is more comfortable starting.

Therefore Alabama gets the benefit of the doubt as to not having the drop off that Florida would.

tduecen..you are correct that courage is not defined by anything that you can post on a message board. Besides that, the above quote is about the only other thing I can agree with you on.

Gump just wants you to make a prediction. If you're BOLD enough to say Dareus sucks, be BOLD enough to make a prediction. Maybe he thinks you're chicken schit cause you don't want it rubbed in your face later when you miss your prediction by a long shot? You say Dareus is a dud? Make a prediction and stand by it...right or wrong...That way Gump will know you're not just talking out your azz.

That is unless you aleady know Dareus is a Hoss and you're here just posting useless flames to get people stirred up?

Exactly. I have no problem with anyone making an opinion, but if you're going to say something.....really say something. The fact he dodged my question multiple times shows that he really doesn't believe the BS he was spewing.

these bandwagon gumps are funny. thinking courage comes from what is typed on a message board. i wish i was a bandwagon fan just like them. they can not accept dareus is just an over rated slob whose performnce will not match the hype they spew. then they will have excuse after excuse for him and others.

Square and Hightower were tearing it up til they were injured. Dareus tore it up. Chapman didn't miss a beat when he was in. Nico Johnson did a great job replacing Hightower and will be back in the lineup too. I'm not worried at all about our front.
So these guys did great while rotating some at spot duty. It is still yet to be seen if they can bring it on a consistent basis and have the leadership intangibles that bama lost on defense. Also, who are the players that are going to step in behind these guys and provide the rotating depth to keep these guys fresh. Will they be freshman and sophomores that have never seen the field? Point is, I don't doubt that Bama has loads of young talent but young talent often lacks leadership and maturity which can lead to losses on the field.

I don't disagree there as far as leadership goes. Hightower though, while hurt last year, was very active on the sidelines and took it upon himself to begin to establish himself as a leader. We'll see how it carries into this season. Anyhow.. it's just my opinion on the front 7 and I could be wrong. It's happened more than 3 times in a yr before, this could be another yr for it.

Cause all of this proves so much to you bandwagon gump fans. We have all seen what happens with Alabama fans and predictions, when they are wrong they make countless excuses for it, they go back and edit, they lie, they cheat, and they are pathetic.
A prediction will not prove anything, Dareus is over rated and I stand by that opinion. A prediction will not change my opinion, his play on the field will not match the hype you wish to bestow upon him.

You're crazy. We just beat Texas like 7 months ago.
Different season, different teams. Contrary to the belief of many on TD, prior seasons don't carry over, get combined or pick up where the other left off. Each season stands on it's own and each team is different. The bama team team beat texas lost almost every defensive starter and special teams specialist.

Overrated but can't even tell us what "overrated" is. You mouthbreathing 'necks such as tduecen crack me up. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.
