No matter the outcome of the SEC CG, and still has the potential for a top 3 finish at the end of the regular season. Not first... but.. very acceptable for a down year.

Yah. A top 3 finish as a moral victory is acceptable.

Damn, I wish my team could go 11-1 and it be a "down year."

You're assuming a bowl victory. Does Utah in the Sugar Bowl ring a bell??

Winning isn't everything, but it beats anything that comes in second.

For a #3 finish.. yes.

No matter what though, from now until the Bowl games and final poll, Bama is assured to stay in 4th though, at the minimum.

No way should bama be a top 3 team. Their best win is a 3 loss lsu team.
