I don't think anyone is arguing we haven't played anybody anymore. And those teams have quite a few 26-40 wins, which aren't all that different.

I'd think UGA is close, +/- 1 to bama

ETA: its 4 for UGA. No Auburn in this weeks top 25

Anyone still saying that is clearly a troll. And after Saturday there will be zero reasoning for it.

Well, before Alabama played LSU, none of the teams they'd played previously were ranked (TAMU and Mizzou entered the rankings after).

After beating LSU, Alabama played another ranked team in Miss State (sorry Auburn).

So, yeah, their schedule turned out to be a lot tougher than it looked early on. LSU's schedule was still tough, but not near as bad as it looked on paper before the season (Miami and Auburn choking).

I have to give props to Alabama. Everyone's talking about their offense (for good reason), but that defense is the reason they blow everyone away. They make adjustments better than any team in the NCAA. Multiple times, I have seen teams have success against that defense only to get shut down completely in the second half. Alabama definitely earned their way to the top this season. That's why it is so mystifying why they also seem to get so many questionable calls their way. They really don't need the help as they would still dominate everyone without it, yet they get it anyway. Doesn't matter, though, nothing anyone can do about it.

I don't see Georgia (or anyone else) beating Alabama this postseason. They just look heads and shoulders better than everyone else.

They played four ranked teams. Three of them are 8-4 and the other is LSU.

Settle down.

And if I’m not mistaken, is responsible for the biggest loss for each of those teams by a wide margin

Ohio State has that one game every freeken year and it infuriates the hell out of me. But OSU on their A game is the only team in the country that competes with Bama. I don't think they win and they might not even get the shot (can't get smoked by Purdue), but if they do. They have the talent.

I hope they get in over Oklahoma.

Alabama would skullfrick Ohio State.

Okay, new subject: Kentucky has more top 25 wins than any of the three. Go!

Did the 2014 Ohio State squad get blown out by a 6-6 team? How many players from that team are currently on the OSU roster?

I'm praying the committee puts Ohio State in the playoff.

It's 2018 and your team got boat raced by a 6-6 team.

Your championship winning team from four years ago doesn't erase that.

Well...yes.

Virginia Tech finished 7-6, but they were 6-6 before their bowl.

Are you saying we didn't beat your asses after jumping the Big 12 and being given almost no shot to beat an unstoppable Gump team?

Purdue won't save you if the committee doesn't.
