The fact of the matter is that is all they are... ifs.
If we had played a normal schedule, sure. There would be more winning records. That's the point though. We didn't. The schedule is fricked. The whole season has been fricked from the onset. No crowds, star players opting out everywhere, teams playing with less than half of their scholly players, etc.
You just admitted that the scheduling is fricked up leading to misguided statistics.
That's why anyone mentioning ANY team this year as one of the best ever, is purely self serving. It's just not so.

Well you can add 3-4 games to most SEC team win totals if this season had had a normal SEC schedule. AU 9-3, Mizz 8-4/9-3, LSU 8-4, Ark 7-5, UK 8-4/7-5, etc. That would have been 7 SEC teams with winning records. UGA would not have played Alabama so would have been 11-1.
Not counting the wear and tear of having no cupcakes to pad stats and get a break. No team has ever won more than 9 SEC games in a season, IIRC and Alabama won 11 over the top 11 teams in the conf. It did not pad it's win total with Vandy or SC.
Don't know if this was Bama's greatest season but it was the most impressive reg season anyone has had vs SEC competition.

Bamas second best win this year is getting absolutely boat raced by oklahoma right now and is going to finish with one loss less than LSU.... who beat them with their worst team in 20+ years.
