The game was more than I thought it would be and the Dawgs looked good enough to beat just about anyone else...
Nobody is going to beat Alabama in a shootout this year IMO.

To make it closer in the SECG UGA must find a way to keep Alabama's offense off the field.

I really don't think it's enough to beat them but it is the only way to make things more interesting.

Alabama is Alabama the benchmark.

But we are going to frick Florida up...

Our defense actually looked like a defense in the second half. But I don’t know why y’all didn’t run more. We had trouble stopping the run. I think if we meet again in December you guys will be playing that game with a different qb and will run a lot more.

I worry you're right.

Luckily, for now, it looks we'll have a shot to find out.

Maybe, maybe not? But it looks like Bama’s putting themselves in a position to see what they can do. Of course we still have to face the reigning national champions, but who knows what could happen. Still a lot of football to play.

If we do play you with the same QB, the result will be similar. Without an above average QB, we're toast with that insanely talented O. Hell of a wakeup call for us for sure.

Some of them got touchy about it but I tried to tell the pups that both Auburn and Tennessee were down and their wins against them were not as big as they thought. Last night's game proved that to be true, Georgia is a good team but pretty far from a championship team.

I wouldn't be so sure about a win over Florida either if I were them, they may beat them but it's far from guaranteed. Georgia has some significant flaws and it starts with the coaching, Saban and company abused Smart and his bunch in the second half. Hell, I wouldn't be totally shocked if Kentucky knocked Georgia off, their win against Auburn was just as impressive as the pups was.

1980, it just keeps getting farther and farther away

Your hindsight is so 20-20. Here is what you said before we played UT or Auburn...

Ain't happening. Auburn and Florida are going to be losses and it wouldn't surprise me too much if Tennessee knocks them off to. With that pathetic offense UGA simply is not a particularly good team this year, I'm thinking 6-4 is a real possibility

What is this stick up you arse about Georgia? they just need a QB and they have several prospects in line. Much better situation than we are in with our 70 scholarship players and dinosaur defensive coordinator

Do you plan on fricking Florida for the entire game or just the first half?

Perhaps but we have more nattys this century than they do their entire history. As far as what I have against them, it's nothing particularly personal but their Alabama attitude with a Vanderbilt trophy case makes them an easy target

I disagree big-time. I think Clemson is the best team by far right now. Bamas defense would give up 50+ vs clemson I guarantee you that. We will seen what ohio state looks like, but clemson looks unstoppable right now. They're better than bama from what I've seen thus far.

And here's what I said Saturday morning

I don't think it's going to be a huge blowout but Alabama does win and cover fairly easily. Georgia is being built up a bit much based on wins over Auburn and Tennessee, neither of which are particularly good this year.

Alabama 38 Georgia 24

Seems pretty spot on

So what I see is that so far you’ve predicted we’d lost to Auburn, Florida, and Bama..and that losing to UT wouldn’t be a surprise. You seem to be wrong at least as often as you are right...if not more. Being a fan of an NC winning team doesn’t mean you know what you are talking about...
