I was in a house full of Bama fans so I had no option but to watch the whole game. When Georgia took the lead the entire house was silent while I was jumping around and shouting for like 13 seconds

If anyone -- including everybody in the Big 10 -- has any doubt as to the power of the SEC when it comes to television viewership, Kentucky vs. Ole Miss outdrew Michigan's game this past week!

Love it!!

Now that we know ole miss are frauds

Not so fast, my friend.

What we learned was that Kentucky wasn't a fraud, not necessarily Ole Miss.

The Wildcats have a very good team and they gave proof of it at Oxford. The verdict is still out on Ole Miss. LSU will decide it.

Defacto national championship every time these two teams get together

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case last year in the 2023 SEC Championship game.

I would assume a lot of people quit watching at 28-0. I did.

32 teams. They all play each other at some point over the years. Professional sports always out do college sports.

Not shocking.

In my head I thought it was going to be around 7 million - 12 is crazy. I am sure some people tuned in to see if Trump was going to do anything

This years “game of the century” in CFB = a pitiful NFL game rating. Amazing how dominant the League is at the moment.

NFL numbers are inflated by their having only 1-2 games on at a time on network television, and every restaurant, bar, hospital, and airport TV being tuned to one of those two games.

Then there’s the obvious boost they get from being the only show in town in major city centers across the country each week.

13 seconds. UGA took the lead with 2:31 remaining and had relinquished it by 2:18.

It helps when there are only two NFL games airing on national television at a time.

College football averages around 15 million viewers for the 12 oclock games and 20 million viewers for the late games. That's on par with Sunday Night Football on NBC.

And there were a lot of people without power or their homes destroyed after the hurricane.

If Georgia had won that game we would surely beat those numbers when they come to ATX in a few weeks. I think we'll still get a fair number of eyeballs, just not as many

Texas vs GA wont exceed A&M vs Notre Dame. 9.3 million.

Book it. Other issue is Texas loses to OU and then takes another loss to GA. The pain doesnt end there.

All of SEC has their popcorn ready for the melt in Austin.
