They were some of the nicest, most knowledgeable folks I've been around at sporting events. I looked forward to their coming, but not to the all to often arse whippings they'd administer before they left!...bottomline, they exuded class, and that's something that should be respected.
This is the bond Bama football fans and UK basketball fans have. This year is an exception but Bama does not make the ncaa tourney most years, and UK usually does. They have carried our conference in this sport for so long and is why many Bama fans then watch and pull for UK in the tourney. We can appreciate and respect their contribution to our conference.

Same argument against football playoff expansion. But to have 5 power conferences and one is automatically out every year no matter what is absurd.
Reality is basketball's field needs to shrink and football's needs to expand. Basketball isnt going to ever do that. Football is eventually going to. For better or worse. I think I personally enjoyed BCS era more TBH.

I’m honestly surprised Cal hasn’t been fired and I’m not just talking about this year. One NC since he was hired in 2008 is bad at Kentucky

100%. Far more parity in the sport due to the roster sizes. Much more difficult to stay hot 6 straight games and hope you don’t run into someone shooting out of their minds.

There's just not hate or animosity between Kentucky and Alabama. We both hate Tennessee. We both have our pesky in state little brothers with massive inferiority complexes. And several historic figures shared between us such as the Bear and CM Newton.

Yeah maybe more local people I could see that but don’t know anyone who is a KY fan or ever hear Bama fans gushing on about KY BB. I think they clearly have a lot of respect for KY
