Alabama Football vs Kentucky Basketball
Who has the historically better program?? Also will Kentucky take Oats if Cal leaves for Texas? Winner of this match up will move to the finals in a winner takes all match up against an equally dominant program to be announced.

Kentucky Basketball

(The Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team is an American college basketball team that represents the University of Kentucky. Kentucky is the most successful NCAA Division I basketball program in history in terms of both all-time wins (2,320) and all-time winning percentage (.765). The Wildcats are currently coached by John Calipari.)

Alabama Football

The Crimson Tide is among the most storied and decorated football programs in NCAA history. Since beginning play in 1892, the program claims 18 national championships)

Maybe one day the Kentucky basketball team will play the Alabama football team in beer pong and we can finally settle this

Based upon accomplishments who would you say has the upper hand?

Well football matters more than basketball imo, so I don’t care how much basketball success a school has had compared to football. I’ll probably get a bunch of downvotes, but I’m being honest. Football rules this conference.

Saban is a better coach. He sends more people to the league and still wins Championships.

Wrong.
Most Bama fans respect Kentucky basketball because they understand what it's like to be envied and hated for its excellence, and to get EVERYBODY"S best shot every game.
There's a big difference between respect and jealousy.

Make it so, Number One!
That would actually be an entertaining match to put on ESPN! I'd watch it for sure!

This is the bond Bama football fans and UK basketball fans have. This year is an exception but Bama does not make the ncaa tourney most years, and UK usually does. They have carried our conference in this sport for so long and is why many Bama fans then watch and pull for UK in the tourney. We can appreciate and respect their contribution to our conference.
