oh sick burn....Football will always be more popular than Baseball.....dwi LSU fan. BTW baseball isn't popular in this state for reasons stated above.....levelling the playing field may change that....still can't take away how fricking boring that sport is....if LSU sucked..this convo would've never happend.

Pawwww what is baseball
What if Skip Bertman never came to LSU? He doesn't end up hiring Nick Saban? What if Paul Mainieri stayed at Notre Dame? What if...?

just admit that your fan base is largely made up of hypocrites who don't love/support the University of Alabama nearly as much as they claim they do and we can all go home.

And also just because someone isn't at the game that doesn't mean they don't care/aren't watching or following the team closely.
Actually, that is the only measurable indicator of fan interest, and Alabama has better attendance than LSU in every common spectator sport except for women's basketball and baseball.

We are just going to have agree to disagree since we aren't going to change each other's opinions. You can call me a liar or an idiot, but it doesn't change anything.

When the LSU Tigers lose, they just lose. It's a flat feeling; there's nothing there. Now Bama, now here, we have a rich history of really fascinating ways to lose a crucial game. You know what I mean? Defeats that just keep you awake at night. They pound in your head like the hammer of fate. Yeah, you can analyze a Bama game day and night for a month and still uncover really complex layers of feelings. Feelings you didn't even know you were capable of having. Yeah. That kind of pain has a memory all of its own.

It's a beautiful game
They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and peace they lack. And they'll walk out to the bleachers; sit in shirtsleeves on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have reserved seats somewhere along one of the baselines, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the game, and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters.
The pitcher throws and you look for that pill...suddenly there's nothing else in the ballpark but you and it. Sometimes, when you feel right, there's a groove there, and the bat just eases into it and meets that ball. When the bat meets that ball and you feel that ball just give, you know it's going to go a long way. Damn, if you don't feel like you're going to live forever.
Don't care about baseball, but do like the movies....

If I have X dollars designated for sporting events, and season tickets to LSU baseball, football and basketball add up to X x 1.5, then I have to make a decision about which tickets I will buy. That certainly indicates which sports I prioritize but that doesn't mean I'm not at home watching the third sport rooting on my Tigers.

All Alabama fans got together and said whatever Alabama fans say in random forum post on random SEC sports forum is THE word and that's final.....we really don't think you have any pulse for any fan base. GFY.

I fail to see how not liking baseball means I don't support the university. Baseball isn't going to bring in a ton money, it doesn't effect academics. So why should I follow a sport that I find incredibly boring and don't want to watch?

you can do whatever you want just don't claim alabama has some great fan base, that's all.

Have I ever said that?
I still don't see how it means I don't support the university.

Alabama fans don't care about grammar because they aren't good at it

Because it can be a money making sport in the SEC. And baseball player are generally the smarter athletes and can affect the APR further. Bringing more recognition for academic success in athletics.
