No. The history really isn't compelling between the two programs. I only consider Auburn and Tennessee as our rivals.

The LSU Alabama game has been a very entertaining, tough game for a while and will continue to be a marquee game.

As an LSU fan, I do consider Bama a rival. All bullshite aside, I get super pumped for the Bama LSU game.
They probably don't consider us rivals in the same way we don't consider A&M rivals because we utterly own them .
Alot of recent Bama LsU games have been decided by small margins in BR.

not until LSU wins again. Can't be a rivalry if one team is winning all the time. Same goes for Tennessee.

I got bad news, here are LSU's true rivals:
Mississippi
State
Arkansas
A&M
Auburn
Alabama
and Florida.
The reason? LSU plays all of them every year while we're all competing for the same goal, the SEC Championship. That's what rivals do.

No sir. For a while we just considered them a threat to our quest at winning championships. Lots of us that post here have a problem with their fans for good reason but if not for this website I would have no ill will toward their fans or program. Tigerdroppings have ruined LSU for me and others as well. The hard feelings are slowly dissipating with their decline but won't last long if and when they improve. For right now frick em but they aren't a rival, they are just another west opponent kinda like Ole Miss or Arkansas just a little better.

Well, we seem to be everyone else's rival, so... sure, why not. I think I've seen some sites/publications that list Penn State as one of our rivals.

Before 2007 it felt like any other conference game, UT and AU withstanding. After Saban took over at BAMA LSU's hate for all things Alabama really made the game interesting, and it has absolutely been a rivalry game since. However, the luster is fading now that Miles is gone and LSU hasn't won in a while. Coach O just doesn't bring what LSU did with Miles.

Historically Ole Miss is LSU’s rival. But LSU owns Ole Miss in much the same way Bama owns LSU.
