Attend! The other day I read an exclusive essay (I'm subscribed to this particular catalog) by Philip Ilgauskas about dynasties of the ancient world, and whilst I was annotating, I cogitated about the stupidity of the media referring to Alabama's run as a "dynasty". If you want to talk about a dynasty, consider the word in the context of the true meaning. In the article, Ilgauskas took into account the reign of the Zhou Dynasty which, "notwithstanding to the peripety of notion, perpetuated, hitherto, a well-nigh, infallible command of the Yellow River Valley for seven-hundred ninety years," (Ilgauskas 3).

Yes, it is incredible that Alabama has been able to sustain success, but if Alabama were a true dynasty, then we would not have seen national championship games involving Oregon (2), Auburn (2), Ohio State, and Florida State over the past ten years. A true dynasty is an unwavering, hereditary command which lasts many years without interruption from an enemy force. I am aware that the University of Alabama may not be the best place for an education, but still, I would have expected more from people who claim to have graduated from said university than to tarnish the connotation of the word "dynasty". How far have we fallen in America where the complete disrespect of connotary rights is considered appropriate? Quit eulogizing the status of your football team when 'tis not illustrious enough to have earned the right of eulogy!

The word is used “denotatively” as a linguistic expression. A toboggan is a sled but in the south it “denotes” a stocking cap.

Ok well where is the evidence in that claim? You cannot sit here and tell me illogical fallacies about the future. Do you have no regard for the Law of Syllogism?

Well, in this case, actually, the way you are using "dynasty" can be considered as both connotative and denotative

I sleep fine every night knowing that my superior education allows me to display my wit in such a fashion as this, disproving the fallacious world as we know it.

Well I can't say you are wrong. I mean in the way you seem to define dynasty, you mean if they rule college football. That would mean Alabama either make the rules or influence the way they are enforced. You are simply making an a case against Bama bias in college football. You make a very good point.

Yes. I know that. A good argument always addresses multiple issues.

You sure about that chief? Because the word "whit" translates to an incredibly small amount, as in the sentence:

"The pseudointellectual had not a whit of self-awareness while attempting to justify his insecurities over his favorite football team as witty banter."
