Ole Miss has zero P4 schools on the calendar for like a decade. And now they’re going to have to scramble to add one per year.

This is a bit of an exaggeration. I took a look and the last season Ole Miss didn't schedule a P5/P4 school was 2015.
Also: 2014, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001.

So, eight times this century.

They have scheduled home and home series with FSU, Texas, Texas Tech (twice), Mizzou, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Cal.

I cannot blame Alabama because WVU with Rich Rod owned the SEC.

Even Rich Rod turned down the Bama job.

Not a good look for DeBoer

The math isn't hard. Added another SEC game, so the school dropped an OOC major team and kept the more respectable opponent.

Committee has shown no regard for SoS. Sec is tough enough. Why bother in the dying ages of what once made CFB great?

His wife did to be fair. Rich Rod is not the alpha in the union.

West Virginia wasn't in a Power 5 conference until 2012.

2010-11 was before conference realignment and there was a power 6.

The champions of the six BCS conferences — the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Big East, Pac-10 and SEC — will all receive guaranteed bids to BCS games.

What does this have to do with Bama or LSU scheduling 2 power conference teams OOC in a single season?

Huh? Have you even watched football the past 20 years?

I’m too lazy to look up the past schedule but Alabama scheduled schools that most people didn’t even know existed. Like complete joke games that they should be ashamed about.

In 2016 Bama played Kent St.

In 2017 Bama played Mercer. Mercer!!! Are you f-ing kidding me? Where is that?

I can keep going but my point is made.

But who am I to say that’s not the way to do it? Saban won 6 titles. But Bama has always had a reputation of having a particularly soft ooc schedule.

Probably smart to cancel WVU though. They’re the type of team that will hit you in the mouth and play like nothing to lose.
