Jalen sucks against good defenses. Auburn would have destroyed him just like they did in 2017

Can we claim Kyler Murray?

Does he have an Aggie ring? Which way does it face?

Hurts started for 2 seasons and won 2 national championships, one as a starter.

Hurts was only a part of one national championship team (2017), and we all know what happened in that game.

On a deeper level, Alabama fans complained about Jalen Hurts virtually the entire time he started, and y'all were thrilled when he got benched. Claiming him now is 100% disingenuous because y'all wanted him on the bench.

is the only equivalent I need.

Because it's the only equivalent between the two. Bama fans cheered for their starting QB, Jalen Hurts, for 2 full years. That's why it's vastly different.

That's not remotely true. We didn't start questioning him until his second season as a starter.

Bama fans hero worshipped him for the entirety of 2016, and again at the end of 2018.

Honestly, it’s pretty weak to claim someone that left your program and improved their draft stock at the new school. Kudos to you for not trying to claim him.

No it doesn't. Cam didn't graduate from Florida.

OK I'll grant you that point. Y'all liked him in 2016. Started complaining about his passing ability in 2017, probably because Tua was waiting in the wings and everybody knew he was a better passer.

The university you graduate from is kind of a big deal. What is Joe Burrow supposed to put on his resume? Or if people ask him where he graduated from?

Jalen played in more games for Bama than Burrow did for LSU.

Actually, I don't know if he got a ring for it or not but he was an early enrollee and played DeShawn Watson on the scout team prior to the 2015 title game.

Good point. And I know Mac threw two pick sixes but he actually played quite well

No, look at what Hurts did against LSU vs what Tua did.

Not really, he graduated from Bama and was a 2 yr starter and 3yr player.

If he ever needs to make a resume in the future, he's made some really bad choices.

Jalen without A1abana = Heisman finalist + CFP

A1abana without Jalen = Lemonade Bowl

nah, but we would have won it all if tua knew how to throw the ball away. He better learn how in the nfl
