Incorrect. Burrow is an Iowa native. They moved a few times following his dad's coaching positions, and moved to Ohio when his dad accepted a coaching position there for the Ohio Bobcats.
He grew up as a Nebraska fan and wanted to go there but they chose not to offer him. His dad and two older brothers played for Nebraska, and his dad was on the coaching staff there.
But alrighty if you say he grew up as a big Ohio State fan.

In fact he was he starting QB in a national title year. As a freshman. This guy had a hell of a career...@ TWO SCHOOLS! And was a great team player and rep @ both.

I don’t know about that but I was glad to see him go fairly early in the draft. He has some limitations in the passing game but is a pretty good q b overall and very nice guy

You asked for equivalence. Clearly they are not the same as Jalen Hurts did more for Alabama than just earn his bachelor's degree.

That's not what you argued. You argued for an equivalence. Clearly they are not equal as Jalen did more for his alma mater than Joe Burrow did for his.
By your logic, I did just as much for The University of Alabama as Jalen Hurts simply because we both received our degrees from UA.

There's a difference between claiming and equating. Ohio State can rightfully claim Joe Burrow as an alum as he received his degree from Ohio State. The same is true for Jalen Hurts and Alabama.
Where the comparisons end is where their playing careers begin. Joe Burrow never started a down for Ohio State, whereas Jalen Hurts was the star QB for Alabama for almost two full seasons. His late-game heroics in the 2018 SEC Championship Game cemented his legacy at UA and endeared him to the fans for the rest of eternity.
That is why you can't equate the two as you argue in your OP. Joe Burrow is just an alum while Jalen Hurts is arguably an Alabama Legend.
