Auburn will a pain in the arse in February and March with Cooper and Powell and other guys like Thor getting experience.
We'll probably be starting 4 freshmen when Powell gets back. We needed Powell today, he is shooting over 60% from the floor

Powell is gonna feast on catch and shoot threes with Cooper breaking down the defense.

Bruner had 20 points & 7 boards & 4 assists, did not see that coming (I’m not complaining :)

I'm liking our depth, and we're really playing team basketball. It's fun to watch right now.

The early 2010s literally had years when the entire West had a sub 80 RPI and 5/6 of it were 150+.

So, yea, maybe not as good at the top but the depth isnt even close to the miserable period of the late 2000s/early 2010s.

SEC would be lucky to get 3 teams in the tourney back then.

Major shouldn't be capitalized.

2015-16 is the last really bad year. 3 teams in the tournament and one of them was a bubble

Name a year when both UK and UF were down this much ? As those programs go, so goes the SEC. Even Ark looks average after a hot start. The big surprise is UGA, after what they lost last year, they at least look average for the first time in years.

You cannot be trying to argue with a straight face that the 2020-2021 SEC is worse than the early 2010s.

Having "a great team" doesn't make a league good, depth does. The West Coast Conference had the best team in the country - it's not a top 8 league.

The SEC West was a mid major conference in the early 2010s.

That shite was hard to watch, no matter who you pulled for. A single game lost to a West team was a resume killer. Bama was 12-6 (?) in league play and missed the tournament.

That's true. But no SEC team was harder to watch than Anthony Grant's tractor pull twice a week. You couldn't watch it, even in a win.

Yea Grants teams couldn't score but they generally weren't terrible.

Barbees teams couldn't score. They were also just miserable all around.

I would buy tickets to Barbee AU on stubhub for 3 bucks. If I got really aggressive, I’d just wait for someone to hand me tickets outside of the arena.
