Is the program not improving? NIT finals and 2nd in the SEC last year and this year we're going to the tourney for the first time since 2006.

I stated that we really haven't beaten a team of relevance in his tenure. That can't be disputed really. We're also 0-4 against Florida and 0-2 against KSU. I am happy we'll be in the big dance for the first time in forever. That's the big goal.

The big goal is improving. Gottfried left a mess and we're still a young team. If that relevant win doesn't come next year, then you can have reason to complain.

At least we looked better than we have the previous three games. That's the positive to carry into the big dance. I wish we could get more shots for Lacey. Run set plays for him.

I haven't been around much the past week or so, but did you go from optimist to negative nancy or are you screwing around? We have sucked the past three games before today, but I'm encouraged by the performance today. You have some good points, Kentucky last year was probably the biggest win but they lost to everybody on the road. And our boy Grant is 0 for whatever against Billy D and Martin. Oh well, we're improving and are dancing, good enough for now.

I've gotten pretty negative regarding our team. It's improvement to be in the big dance though. That's the good news. It's a helluva lot better than being in the NIT. I am concerned with the inability to beat teams with better talent. I don't want us to be satisfied with the Gottfried/Stansbury way of just being good enough to get by. But I also thinks it's a longer process than I had anticipated.

We went on a good run midway through the second half, that was fun. I can't believe we only got Cooper two shots. I also can't believe Jacobs continues to get the minutes he does (taking some from Cooper) with zero concept or ability to play defense.

Agreed. Jacobs is a defensive liability that cannot be overcome. He is too slow to hedge and recover on the pick and roll and he cannot guard a perimeter player or a post player, hell he can't guard his shadow.
Cooper is a better option, he can guard Murphy who doesn't have a post game. JaMychal is less effective when he has to guard Murphy.
If you and I can see this why can't CAG.

I think we would like to increase our chances to rebound that's why. Grant bashers are dumb as hell.
