I've been frustrated with it ever since we hired him. I'm sure someone will chime in here in a second informing me about how our ppg and total offense has been steadily improving under McElwain, but the fact still remains that his redzone playcalling is dog shite and he constantly goes away from things that are working before the other team has forced him to.

He is creative at times and keeps the D way off balance. Then he just goes super predictable and is bad in the red zone. Honestly I think it may be saban's conservative nature that impacts what he does.
