The goal of the playoff is to have the best 4 teams in the country. If you don't think Alabama is one of the best 4 teams in the country even if we lose to Georgia then you're just an idiot.

Past success should have no bearing on this year. I think it sets a bad precedent if they start putting multiple teams from the same conference in the playoffs. We would all be bitching if this was being talked about in another conference.

Just look at last year. They beat an elite USC team by 50 points! I think they'll do the same to their better opponents this year, the LSU's, the Auburn's, the Georgia's.

It literally only happened one time that Bama lost a game and did not win the SEC and was allowed to play for the title. Every other year they have played for the title or made the playoff under Saban they won the SEC. Stop acting like a little bitch!!
