Alabama - Playoff Resume

Herbstreit just said "If Alabama loses a close game, should we really penalize Alabama?....even if they don't have the resume, we have our eyeballs"
Congrats Bama, if for some crazy reason you do lose a game you'll always have the benefit of the doubt. We all know you'll never lose more than one game, therefore you'll always be in the playoff. You'll always get your rematch.
They've set the table Georgia fans. The big ESPN machine is going to force a rematch on you if you somehow pull off the upset in Atlanta.

I thought I heard them say the same about Georgia losing to Bama.
Even mentioned that a 10-14 point loss to Bama may not be enough to drop Georgia to #5.
So when do we start complaining about how ESPN and SEC offices are just trying to prop up Georgia?

Or the fact that no matter who they play they beat them by 50 pts. They just stomp the shite out of everybody they play.

They beat these teams to a pulp. Never once was the game in doubt.
Even the A&M game which was close. Watching the game you just never felt like Alabama was going to lose the game

That's fine. It's more fun watching them lose to the teams everyone wants to leave out. Like getting ran out of the stadium by a "had no chance" Oklahoma team.

I actually am in the camp that 2 teams from a conference will not make the 4 team playoff...unless there is some extreme chaos at the end of the season.
I believe a loss in the SEC CG puts either Bama or Georgia out of the playoffs.

What this really does is does something that makes the rest of the nation angry, it sets a precedent, if we see a 12-0 Georgia and 12-0 Alabama, the SECCG is meaningless unless we see an Ohio State like beating from 2014 by one of the teams.

The only way two teams from the same conference get in is if bama loses to uga in Atlanta. Sad, but true.
