Nobody knows how Mett will play. LSU is in the same predicament as Bama was last year with McCarron and Bama won a NC with McCarron. LSU will just need Mett to basically be a game manager and don't make bad decisions. I think he will do just fine for what he will be asked to do in his first year. I mean hell he has won a JUCO NC and has obviously been on the practice squad against one of the best defenses. See you on Nov.3 and hopefully it will be as good of a game as it has been the last couple of years.

Mett will be as good as any other QB and better than most in the SEC when all is done.
Just watch the ESPN reruns of the Georgia's game 2nd half, Murray was peeing all over himself just like Wilson after our defense cranked it up.
McCarron is a great QB for Saban's system no doubt, but he will have his issues as well this year.

I don't know about that - last time I saw A.J. play (against the best defense in the county without his #1 receiver (Maze)) didn't look like he had any issues.

From the stories making the rounds out of Thibodaux, A.J. did not win any popularity contests amongst the other QB's.If he & Mett are in fact buddies, then his quotes should be taken in good faith & meant to be humorous. If not, then mabe his personality as evidenced in Thibodaux is what it is. My take: 2 college aged kids who know each other just having fun.
