I don't really care if he's a douche. He's a much better QB than he gets credit for, and he looks like a good teammate. And that includes the moment with Jones.
I don't like his tat. I don't like that he plays for Bama. My daughter thinks he's cute. His GF is overrated -- but still great looking. SO FREAKING WHAT? 49-0, as far as I'm concerned.

When that happened, I saw Saban in AJs uniform. You can tell that McCarron has completely bought into Sabans system. Do much so that he is yelling about dumb mistakes when the game is in the bag. Remind you of anything? See AJ Saban butt slap for a refresher.

He has been under Sabans thumb for 4 years. This could have something to do with how he acts on the field.
The team was set,the clock was down to 4 seconds and he couldn't get a snap.(I think he had a coverage on a wide out that he knew he would have open).
He is still the best qb bama has had sence Stabler.

I played center in college, but when things were a lot simpler. Defenses were basically odd or even; you either blocked your guy or scraped. So I don't know what happened.
I have to think the QB has the final call, and the center's job is ultimately to make his call conform to the QB's. Jones says he was right, but I'd be surprised if the center CAN be right in that situation, even if he's making the correct call.
But what do I know?

I agree with all of this except for the daughter part. My daughter is only six years old.

I agree that golden boy Barrett was in the wrong. The qb is in charge, period. And never, ever lay your hands on a teammate.
And as far as being up 42-14 at the time, they're drilled to pay no attention to the scoreboard and to play to a standard.
They're both perfectionists and want to play well no matter the score. That is why they play for a dynasty.

Actually, McCarron was right. Jones was trying to change the blocking assignment with literally no time on the play clock. McCarron wanted the snap. Jones lost track of where they were on time.
