I got into it a bit with a gump buddy because I said Saban is an arse for keeping AJ in the game until 5 minutes left with a huge lead. I stand by that.

AU was ahead by the same margin and playing our 4th string qb by the end of the 3rd, early 4th. Gus intentionally trys to hold the score down constantly, even taking intentionally delay of games inside the 5 yard line late in a game to keep us from scoring more. AJ is a good fit for saban at qb. Classless little prick.

Um no it wasn't and it seems you never read the reason why UT was calling Bama the red team. Had nothing to with disrespect and all to do with respect. They , UT, coaches said that some teams are defeated before the game just because of the name Bama and thought by calling Bama the red team it would help them over a psychological hurdle.

AJ totally missed their intention or he turned it around to motivate the team.

I thought AJs comments came off as cocky. But hey he's got the hardware to be cocky.

I didn't particularly feel slighted, but I did think it was risky. Tennessee has unfortunately caused some injuries this year and it seems like an awful lot to take a chance on just to rub our noses in it.

But whatever. We're going to have to earn our respect back.

I said they were the clear #1 in the SEC this morning.

I added a "frick bama" before and after the comment though, so dunno if that really counts.

It's not "red team"....it's THE University of Alabama....otherwise known as the 2x defending national champion.

And it's Mr. McCarron to you bitches. Get it straight.

AJ can say whatever he wants.

Dude has kicked the majority of the SEC's arse multiple times. He backs his talk up.

That's true - it's not the same category as That School Down the Road or That School Up North.

I'm not sure it accomplished what Jones wanted, especially with all the publicity.

AJ has more National Championship rings than he has losses as a starting QB. He can talk shite if he wants to.
