And this topic disgusts me.
My grandfather was the head of Coca-Cola bottling and distribution in south and southwest Texas for years.
Needless to say, my family has strong preferences re: this issue.
But apparently—for some crazy reason—PepsiCo offered Texas A&M University an obscene contract $ to go with them, rather than Coke.
It was the kind of deal that couldn’t be turned down.
So disappointing.

The year before, the aggies curb stomped LSU, 33-17. Plus, Jake Delhomme was on that USL team. I'd've given them a good shot to beat LSU in '95. The 90s were a different time for LSU football.
