We don't need a "savior." We just need a really good D. Sumlin will take care of the rest, cher.

If the history of coaches defecting to the greener side of the Sabine is any indication. Coach Henry recognized his rightful place in the world and has thrived with Texas talent for a decade now. Chavis will do the same.

I am sure you are right, as he was able to win several with LSU.

Not buyin any Natty bs for the Ags. DC's have a notoriously difficult time doin their job when paired with coaches that run the type offense u have.

We'll see, but not buyin at all.

Are you sure? Because all we've heard is how Auburn has the next 4 wrapped up with Muschamp as their DC.

Vis
A&M to win a Natty must go through Bama & LSU. Bama knows how to beat Chavis as does Les. This is why A&M will be disappointed.

Does this dude think Chavis was the reason behind the talent level on LSU's defense? Or that LSU did not have good defenses before Chavis?

Congrats to the Aggies on the hire, Chavis is a damn fine DC, but he's not a fantastic recruiter and he has a number of weaknesses. I think many are setting themselves up for disappointment with their expectations.

He went to the better overall program.

I release you are on here with the intent of stirring up shite. If you were truly confident in your statement you wouldn't even have to voice it.

By what measure is A&M a better overall program? Money? Okay, you got that, but what else....Conference Championships? National Championships? Players in the NFL? Recent victories over LSU?

The A&M offensive style of play is not conducive to sustaining the necessary level of defensive play to support winning a championship.
