Aggies, where is Moose Muhammad?

At times, he's been a good playmaker but then Jimbo benched him for wearing sleeves and it seems like he disappeared.
What gives?
What gives?

he always seems to ball out against LSU

I dunno, but I miss him. He was a good player.

He’s behind Walker. You will probably see him more and the younger WRs that actually have speed. The surprise starter was Cyrus Allen from La Tech. But he’s playing out of the slot to replace Ainias.
But who knows, we shall see how things roll out. Moose is great at contested balls. Problem is he probably runs like a 4.6. Our biggest problem is a lack of speed at WR and our fastest legs are freshmen or red shirt freshmen.

Word on the street has been effort issues in practice and inconsistent route running/separation. If he’s on, he’s been able to make some wild catches, but the consistency hasn’t been there. Says something when both coaching staffs aren’t starting him. Hope he’s able to get there early in the year and show his stuff.

This is the second staff that has benched him, so a pattern now exists.
His effort has apparently been less than acceptable.
Such a waste.

I completely disagree. He’s benched for being slow. And he’s behind walker. We got all that size on the field, and no one can get open. Need some twitchy guys or guys who catch everything thrown at them, even inaccurate balls. What good is it having tall WRs out there outside the red zone.

Nothing to do with effort. All indications is that he has been busting his arse for this staff since the spring.
His speed is an issue mostly due to the play style the OC wants to run. Weigman is also having to go through quite an adjustment as was witnessed last Saturday. Both are better players in read then react offenses where plays develop and not as good a fit in quick hit offenses.
My guess is in a few games both will be on the field and playing closer to their potential in a couple of games.
For me, the Florida game is the one I have circled. This staff needs to have the team performing well by then or this year is a wash and they could be cementing their own feet for future recruiting.

Never heard a bad report about about Moose or his work ethic. And I keep up with everything.
I don’t like the passing game in the new offense game one. It was less explosive in the passing game than Jimbo’s was. That’s bad. I also don’t like that we mainly start Noah and Walker just bc of their size (6’4” guys), and don’t rotate some of the young guys (tease, Campbell, Williams, Bethel-Roman) with sub 11 second 100M speed, or Moose who has caught countless inaccurate balls crossing over the middle. I also think the TE needs more targets. Moss is the dude at RB, we are set there at least.
At the end of the day, it was a 13-13 game with Notre Dame with 2 minutes left in the game. They scored. Then the FG when we didn’t get the first down. It’s not like ND had a good offensive unit either.
