That said, the A&M/Texas rivalry will not be renewed at a bowl like the Liberty or Texas. It's a non starter for both schools.

I want nothing to do with one of college football's bluebloods. We are only about 50/50 in wins-losses vs those mighty longhorns in my lifetime. Just look at how they dominate the B12. Really no one in the B12 has a chance of winning it year after year as long as those mighty Texass longhorns are in it.
They win more games by accident than most teams win on purpose. It's really not a fair fight.

With that defense, they could very possibly go 5-7.
In fact, if there's even a slight chance that they could play us in a bowl and they're 5-6, they will intentionally lose to Texas Tech just to avoid playing us.

I would love to play Texas, but I've said that before. Their defense is beyond pathetic, Ehlinger is prone to the interception when he presses, and I honestly don't think Texas wins another game. They will lose to KSU and BU for certain. ISU is away, and Tech would be the game they play for just getting to bowl eligibility

Their scoring defense is 95th in the country.
t.u.'s scoring defense is 98th
In fact, the sips are worse than Mississippi State in every single defensive category (they are the 4th worst pass defense in FBS)
