Aggies Just Hired A Badass To Coach The OL

Coach Jim Turner is returning to Aggieland! He is the architect of the OL the Aggies brought to the SEC which had:
Three first round draft choices
One NFL UDFA that now starts for the Seahawks
A 4th round draft pick that plays for the Jets
And yes, when he coached in Miami, he had a 300 lb lineman who was whining about being bullied. He told team leaders to toughen him up. Guilty as charged.
LSU fans will be familiar with Gerald Hawkins. In HS he originally had offers from Tulane and Memphis as a DT. Turner told him his future was as an NFL OL and he committed. Later, Les Miles flipped him.
Turner also recruited Mike Evans who was a lowly rated unknown.

Great addition to that 9 win team of they find a QB and RB.
Maybe he can teach the defense how to stop run blocking too.

Another Aggie "Legend" is born.
Last year A&M hired Chavis and you boys were going to come cherry pick Louisiana for recruits with all of the Chavis "Louisiana connections". We told you nose-pickers/booger'eaters then that Chavis couldn't recruit. So this year A&M targeted 4 major recruits LSU was after yet went 0-4 in the battles.
Now we get to hear how the latest "bad arse" coach has surfaced in Aggieland. Uh OK.....

Unfortunately, it takes several years to effectively turn an O-Line around and Sumlin doesn't have that much time.
