Aggies, do you remember when Reveille was dognapped in 1993?

Is there a statute of limitations on dognapping? I may or may not know the culprits (just found out the other day randomly). Shorthorns from Dallas.. figures.

Fun fact: She is apparently the highest-ranking member of the Corps of Cadets and wears five diamonds instead of the traditional four worn by the commandant.

ETA: Welp.. three posts before this thread went off the rails I was just trying to bring some levity to the weeklong fight between the Aggies and Hogs. Carry on!

She was also the only SWC mascot that had never been kidnapped, up until that point.

May God have mercy on the soul of the mascot corporal that year.

That's not nearly as bad as what the Corps of Cadets did to a dead dog...

Absolute filth.

Didn't they anonymously leave her tied to a lamp post to "give her back"?

My grandfather loved to tell the story of he and other members of his outfit kidnapping the baylor bear in the early 50s. They took 2 cars down and stuck the bear in the back of a guys Cadillac. The driver/owner of that cadillac was not as joyous in the celebration after, as that bear ripped his back seats to shreds.

Didn't they catch a couple of A&M students with the peanut butter on their dicks with the dead dog's carcass in trunk?

The ransom was that A&M had to admit that UT was superior.

Yep.

Shame on the Aggy fans downvoting simply because even they can't defend such a disgusting act.

Don't know what the hell that has to do with Mascot kidnapping but yes, those guys deserve to have been punished and that is weird as well. If they killed the dog they deserve legit jail time. Every school has idiots and I don't think you are going to find many Ags that think that stunt was remotely ok.

As for the Rev thing it was pretty lame because they stole the dog out of the backyard of the kid taking care of Rev during the Break. If you are going to steal a mascot you need to do it while school is in session. Also, they had called a truce on stealing mascots decades ago because A&M kept stealing everyone elses and it got out of control. It used to be good fun but now it would result in real criminal charges. Hell, A&M branding Bevo with 13-0 now would probably result in 10 years in prison for the guys who did it.

...it has to do with the irony of the Corps of Cadet's treating one dog like royalty while simultaneously desecrating another.

no one masturbated on the dead dog

It’s one of the most disturbing things to come from the minds of LSU fans

What you're implying is even more disturbing Old Sarge. Are you saying they dry humped it? It did say bodily fluids and we all know which bodily fluids Aggs are fond of.

A few guys who are committing a criminal act that is not sanctioned by the Corps is very different than when folks would steal mascots when that was considered normal behavior by most colleges. I'm sure LSU and other schools have weird and disturbing acts committed by students on campus all the time that ends up in criminal charges.

Keep distracting from the OP though...
