Came in last night and didn’t get to see too much yet.

Here’s to a good and entertaining game today.

Fargos is legit. That said, the BBQ is that cow-town is generally sub-par compared to top notch-Texas cue.

As much shite that gets spewed about them, me included. The fans there are pretty cool. Just be prepared to hear "Howdy" a lot. Nod your head and reply the same and you'll have a good time.

Sidenote, for all the gay talk, you'll see a lot of "talent" there. Boots, shorts and cowboy hats can be an attractive combo.

I would use the term “barbecue” in Texas with a grain of salt. Tomato sauce on overcooked meat is more like it.

Visiting A&M is like stepping back into communist Russia in the 80s architecturally.

Set up a tailgate on the Union grass. It’s open to all.

You can always tell when someone on this board has been to a game at A&M. Gay talk reserved for the rant.

Yeah, unfortunately you don’t go to CS for the food, views, or football; you go for the brain washing and butt sex.

Seriously though, don’t bother with sight seeing or food. Go for the campus/game day experience, people watching, etc. It’s definitely an experience alright... If you’re expecting anything like an away game in Athens, Oxford, etc you’ll leave disappointed. The people are generally extremely nice, albeit weird.

1775 Pit BBQ they start serving at 11am. May want to call ahead before the game starts and reserve you order. I'm not sure what the crowd will be like post game, I know with later game times you'd need to be in line by no later than 9:30am/10am..

If you’re driving in through Montgomery, Bar A BBQ is legit. Better than anything in College Station.

I don't remember what year it was, I went to see Aggy vs #5 Missouri and Aggy won the game. Still have my 12th man towel as a souvenir. Had a great time.

UT doesn't have exclusivity on talent in the state of Texas. Aggy can hold their own with UT and TCU.

I've also been to a basketball game as well. Also toured the George Bush library. Gotta say it's pretty impressive.

Wait until game time. Your son may not know the score at the end of the game

1775. Seriously. Go there. Hope you have fun in all ways but watching your team win.

1775 is really good. If you go there, as you should, please report back. I love that place and want people to know about it.
