This. Always legitimately enjoyed seeing other team's bands come to Kyle Field. I know for a fact a lot of Aggies were upset that Rice didn't bring their band to our game earlier this season. Just one of those things that makes cfb special, IMO.

If by "one class of mascot" you mean a live animal mascot, you are correct.
If you want to dress up a ROTC member in a dog costume, that mascot can be on the field.
