True. Even our mascot isnt allowed on the field. Typically Aggie thinking rules should be changed just forthem.

Oh yeah - can you imagine the $ the two schools will generate?

All it is is a ROTC on a large scale that is glorified by their fans...

I'm sure a few managed to blow the right person to get their commission.

The Aggie Band doesn't have a "pep band."
I don't think we're above everyone else.
Ags haven't been to Arkansas in years; so the majority of our fan base most likely didn't realize what y'all do/don't allow, that's all.

I just hope we can get that Black Friday CBS Game. Apparently we have a pretty good shot to.

Agreed. I just think that it is a stupid rule when applied to housebroken animals.
Unless the stated justification is not ACTUALLY the reason for the rule. If the actual purpose of the rule is simply to jack with opponents, then it makes perfect sense.

OSqueal speaks with authority:
I know. Mist of them have never served. Kinda pisses meoff they hide behind the ones that have.
But most officers I dealt with were arrogant couch nozzles.
So oh great OSqueal - did you serve our grwat country in any capacity? Next what percent of the Corps of Cadets is commissioned versus just D&C destined (civilian)? If you answer less than 50% then you have your facts wrong and last time I checked greater than 50% was the majority.
Are there arrogant first class prick military officers out their - absolutely. The fact that you call most military officers arrogant explains a lot about you and your posts.

I know you guys are working on a deal with KU - if that falls through, maybe we can get the black friday thing squared away. I know it's a long shot, but I would really like to see a game played in St Louis or Kansas City. Hey - I said I knew it was a long shot

Do want to point out one thing... usually the size of the band (visiting) will depend on whether the visiting school wants to use it's ticket allotment for more fans, or full band.
Yes, at least as far as I know, the school has to buy tickets for the band.
Marching at half time is a different story. Each school has its own "rules". LSU does it every once in a while; the Aubbie band marched at Death Valley last Sat.

Well, here's my 2 cents - I love watching the opposing team's band. I appreciate seeing a great halftime show, and in this conference, with this caliber of marching bands, nobody sucks. I just appreciate seeing the talent.
Not that I don't wanna beat the shite outta the Aggies. (No offense, Tbird.)
