I'm all in on LSU for the Updyke game and the game against the Collies.

AU needs TAMU to lose, not bammer (though no one is complaining if they lose to LSU).

A&M's easiest path to the playoff is Bama and us winning out and Washington losing a game. If Bama wins the SEC with a loss, the committee is less likely to put two one loss teams from the same conference in. If Bana loses twice and we win out, we have to play an extra game and win it to make the playoff.

Sorry LSU fans, it's just business

Some of us even temporarily changed our team symbol to LSU!

I'd love for LSU to win, but you won't. I don't think it will be that close.

I understand Auburn doesn't need to rely on LSU to get to ATL, but if they are honestly rooting for Bama they're terrible fans

If LSU doesn't beat one of them then they're not going to ATL

Auburn does not control their own destiny. If A&M wins out, Auburn can't win the conference.

Yep, if A&M and Auburn win out, Bama still goes to atlanta if they beat LSU.

I believe the tie breaker would go to whoever was ranked higher.

In the scenarios that have been brought up. A&M might have an advantage in the eyes of the committee, because they lost earlier and on the road. Especially if LSU beat Bama and A&M beats LSU late in the season. The argument would be made that A&M is improving.

Incorrect if a 3 way tie. It would fall to winning record of our cross divisional opponents and UA currently holds the advantage there.

That's not remotely true. There is nothing in the tie-breaker rules about rank.

The tie-breaker rules go all the way to sec east opponent records. Auburns east opponents are terrible. Bama and A&M share tennessee so it comes down to kentucky vs usce which UK will have the advantage.

There are very few unlikely scenarios where Alabama does not win the tiebreakers through a three way tie. Auburn could still win tiebreakers through their East opponents record but they are behind. A&M can only win the tie breakers if through some miniscule amount of probability there is an exact tie between all three teams records of east opponents, then we could win the coin toss. Besides that A&M cannot get over Alabama in any scenarios since South Carolina can only tie Kentucky's record at this point and we both played Tennessee.

It's even worse than that for the Aggies. If UK drops there remaining games and USC wins theirs both will be 4-4. Bama would have the H2H over A&M.

Edit: beaten :( Maybe this weekend will clear up some of the 3 way tie scenarios.

Me either but here's to hope! I mean, I don't think it's going to be a blow-out but I'm not expecting the tigers to win.

I'm not rooting for either. What I would like to see would be lsu beat a&m but lose to bama and auburn beat bama. That way we don't deal with a 3 way tie breaker if we beat bama.

Actually I guess I would rather have bama have two losses I guess so they wouldn't jump us with one loss and make the cfb playoff.
