We have all seen Auburn win a national title in football. We never have, and never will, see aggie do the same. So, they have to give fake trophies to scam coaches and cook up conspiracy theories to distract from their super weird culture that keeps them from winning, generation after generation after generation.

Texas Fight is a response to Farmers Fight.

quote:

"Long before I entered The University of Texas in 1909 and until about the year 1928 the Aggies had one of the most effective and awe inspiring songs used by any student body anywhere any time. ‘Farmers Fight’ at that time was their sacred College song," Hunnicut wrote in a 1952 letter. "It occurred to me that an effective way to strike back at the Aggies was to write a ‘Texas Fight’ song in answer to their(s)."

Texas Fight, Texas Fight, And it’s goodbye to A&M.

Sure it is

So is every car really a Ford since it was inspired by the Model T?

if the longhorns follow, then how come they’re so far ahead in winning?

If Texas was really following a&m, wouldn’t they also be following them in their despair since a&m has never and will never win a championship in football, men’s basketball or baseball?

Teed that one up a little too easy, I’m sorry lol

ETA: no response. Definitely struck a nerve with this one and you aggies wonder why you’re the subject of threads like these

Aggies and it isn’t close.

Auburn hates Bama.

Aggie is scared of Texas.

Gotta go Aggie here. I mean their entire fight song is about Texas

Texas is unoriginal and a copycat. This is but one example.
quote:

Hunnicutt wrote "Texas Fight" in response to the song used by their longtime rivals, Texas A&M University. One of the Aggie songs then was Farmers Fight, which consisted of the words "Farmers Fight" sung to Taps, a song played at many military funerals. Impressed by the song, Hunnicutt figured he would write "Texas Fight" also sung to Taps, but making the song more march-like and having "Texas" throughout instead of "Farmers."[1] In a letter written in 1952 by Colonel Hunnicutt, he says "I wrote 'Texas Fight'... in an attempt to counteract the songs and yells of the Texas Aggies, which were not too complimentary to our Student Body and some of which tended to ridicule 'The Eyes of Texas'."
quote:

Texas Fight, Texas Fight,
And it’s goodbye to A&M.

What I'm learning about U Bama folks from my son who recently moved there is that they are much like 'sips.

Generally classless, lower level type a-holes, t-shirt fans...

Has nothing to do with any syndrome. just his honest observations from someone who has no dog in the hunt.

Son is an educated, thoughtful young man whose impressions and opinions of people is generally spot on.

Is this the part where a&m fans convince us that a single solitary line about a&m is equivalent to an entire song they sing about Texas?

Perfect example of aggie math right here

What I have actually heard from my friends that recently moved to Auburn is that they're exactly like aggie fans: annoyed that they're always overshadowed and living in their own reality.

Has nothing to do with any syndrome, just their honest observations from someone with no dog in the hunt.

They're educated, thoughtful young men whose impressions and opinions of people are generally of the utmost accuracy

You're right. You're hung up on great grandpappy's victories from the late 1930s

Texas had a better season in 2023 than any aggie football team has had in the last 85 years

Haha. You’re hung up on A&M something fierce. Successes since the 1930s hasn’t cured whatever it is you’ve got.
