The bigger questions are on defense. There is a load of young talent on campus, but little experience and not enough game-ready depth. If DC Mark Snyder can pull another rabbit out of his hat, A&M will be a coin toss against Alabama from a national championship. And if the offense is in the 3.6-3.7 points/possession range, Snyder will just need a small rodent, not the full-sized rabbit.

to be fair, Florida was their season opener. It's hard to have things clicking for an entire game week 1. Florida adjusted and shut out aTm in the second half. Aggies got better after that game.
LSU played aTm very well and stopped them mid season. I think they made adjustments from that game as well and became even better the rest of the season.
both losses allowed the team to see what those defenses did, and I think that helped them finish the season the way they did.
this
we were hitting on all cylinders vs bama and ou. we have a legit shot at the national title.

BS. We have the horses to run with that gimmick shite

The idea of a team with a below average defense competing for a national title seems to offend a lot of people around here.

I don't find fantasy offensive. I watched The Hobbit four times.

You shouldn't call your coach names, no matter how short he is.

In fairness, Saban is more like Mount Doom. Whatever happens in the rest of the story, he's the one who ends up with the ring.

There were 732 games between FBS teams in the 2012 season. Five of the 8 best offensive performances in those 732 games came from Texas A&M, and all of those five came after October 26.
I am guessing those 5 were against:
Auburn
Miss St
Sam Houston
Missouri
and
Oklahoma?
Very impressive.
Is that the superior competition the article was talking about?

Congrats! You guys had a very good team, LAST YEAR.

Defenses will be prepared this year. 2012 will be forever Aggies golden year.

Cam Newton > Johnny Manziel. He actually did something useful against LSU.
Of course you guys have a legit shot of winning the national title, but you guys are acting like every game besides Bama is a lock for a victory.
I guess you can feel free to not feel threatened by the team that beat the 2 best teams your school has fielded in the last 15 years in your own state. Oh yeah, you also get to play them in one of, if not the, most intimidating venue in college football.
I hope your players buy into the idiotic hype that fans are spouting, but sadly I think Sumlin is a good enough coach to keep them focused.

I've seen double rainbows when they take the field. And there was no clouds.
Boom.
Boom.
