Deggs could do some damage at A&M with that budget and resources if he’s a legit candidate. I could see Godwin and Tadlock as targets also

I keep reading the same names over and over, tho I doubt any fan knows anything concrete.
FWIW (little), here are the names I’ve seen:
Erik Bakich - Clemson
Link Jarrett - FSU
Cliff Godwin - ECU
Tom Walter - Wake Forest
Mark Wasikowski - Oregon
Scott Forbes - UNC
Andrew Checketts - UCSB
Mitch Canham - Oregon State
Dan Heefner - DBU
And yes, Matt Deggs’ name has been thrown around too.
All signs point to a hire being made very quickly.

Word from north shore locals is that Andy is coaching a 10u team or something. Apparently was asked to leave the high school when leadership changed and was asked to take a pay cut and refused.

I’d actually be more inclined to tip my hat to a younger lad than to an entitled 50-/60-year-old guy.
I’m pretty disgusted.
But very few (zero?) serious discussions entertain the idea of the hire being an assistant.
