If it were only this easy. I married the wrong woman, got wiped out financially through no fault of my own. My kids are still struggling with it 10 years later. It kills me to see them deal with a problem they did not create or have anything to do with. I can make more money but I cannot take that burden from them. I’ve tried for 10 years. So I’d be very cautious, women know they have the upper hand in divorce regardless of the circumstances that get you to that point.

This is pretty accurate. Either you get a slightly higher salary or slightly better benefits. It all equals out in the end. And don’t get fooled by the guys that say they make 175-185k a year. It is possible but you will have to work ALOT of overtime.
