Yeah I've been watching these for a few months, been pretty exciting to see the changes as they take place.

Is a great venue, actually.

I disagree if it is covered up properly it looks fine, and the Aggies will certainly do that:

I really can't wait to see it. Tentatively planning to make the LSU game there on Thanksgiving.

Really hoping the new visitor's section will be better than the old one, 'cause that sucked. No offense.

None taken.

That was by design. Holdover from SWC/big12 culture.

Problem should be remedied by enclosing the stadium, though, if I had to guess.

A smaller venue with a smaller video board and a reputation for being the quietest 100k seat venue in cfb?

Pass.

LSU didn't used to have much room to talk, either:

So glad that is changing:

Wow got a ways to go.

Yep.
Construction will only be half-way complete by this fall.
It's a multi-year project.
Completion isn't set until the 2015 season.

Don't pass too fast. Playing at a larger venue with a larger video board and a louder crowd has produced exactly how many championships over the past decade?

It's actually gotten pretty bad with people trying to sneak on the field during construction. It started when some old ags bought some construction helmets/jackets and walked onto the field in the middle of the day during construction, and then posted it on youtube.

Since then a warning went out that anyone who trespassed onto the construction site would be arrested/prosecuted.. and many have done just that and have been arrested. Starting with these 5 (4 tu studens and an ag) LINK.

Don't their own fans/players call it "the library" or something like that?

DKR does look like a nice facility, though.

Yup. There's been a couple articles on their SBNation site this offseason alone decrying the problem

Biggest contrast I have ever seen was going to the TAMU games against Nebraska and texas in consecutive weeks. While I know it sounds biased, A&M's 90k was a frenzy, while 100k at dKKKr wasn't even a factor (both were close games, too).

Been a problem for them for awhile.
