Well...they've done it TWO trs. in a row and have LOUDLY said that the two bridge schedules will have NO bearing on what 2014,15,16, etc. will look like ! I think the PR nightmare would be....anything but, bama vs. GA,SC,FL for 2014,15,16 and LSU vs. MO,Vandy,KY for 2014,15,16 ! Do I see this scenario playing out ? Absolutely NOT ! SEC/Rec does what it pleases...we're almost used to it by now !

I see, you are clueless. you made a comment of "never fails" in response to my improper use of the word "your", yet you failed to read the line after it. you know the one where I said, "I hope you saw what was left out of that, if not, there is no hope". so to put 2 + 2 together I was referring to you hopefully noticing my improper use of the word "your".

But we may be to 16 teams by then and most issues will be resolved by going to the 4 pod system. But I didn't want to go into all that expansion talk.

You will see it referenced a ton on the SECRant...

They control the NCAA, FWIW (I kid, of course).

Suggestion for you LSU fans that have major issues with the bridge schedules and how it pertains to Bama.

Take this shite up with Joe Aleva and Les Miles so that they can address at the SEC May scheduling session. Next month Joe should be in meetings to process and plan for the '14 SEC schedule. It's a perfect place for Joe to address the preceived inequalities of Bama's scheduling that his fanbase has spent months knashing their teeth over.

There's not one damn thing that can be accomplished from complaining, bitching, moaning, and whining on this board.

Y'all need to get into the ear of Aleva and Miles and let them take a stand in the SEC meetings.

Forget him and his "exclusionary logic"...if, we disregard this and omit that {no need to include all realities and FACTS}...you can clearly see that LSU has had the easier schedule w/in the SEC....really laugh my arse off on that little gem ! Best to ignore one that won't agree to FACTS...just results in circular arguments !

I am not sure you know what "namecalling" or what an argument is.

Alleva has. He wants to end the permanent cross division rivalry games. But Alleva and LSU can't do it alone. Not sure how many votes are needed but he didn't have enough last time.

Lets see now..."perceived inequalities"...are you referring to AL vs. MO/KY in 2012,13 {and simply skipping GA...AGAIN} OR LSU's 2012-13 scheduling of SC/GA....I honestly can't tell where YOUR "perceived inequality" comes into play..LOL

Then it's high time y'all suck it up and accept the fact that it's obvious that the majority of your conference doesn't have a problem with the status quo.

Seriously, if Aleve/Miles have plead their case and they can't muster up a majority vote in favor of their plan, then there's really nothing anyone can do is there?

It is what it is, Miles may as well just gear up and get ready to kick arse with the schedule he's got. It's not like he hasn't been able to beat any given SEC team on any given Saturday.

Without starting another thread on conference expansion, is there any realistic possibility that 2 more teams will be brought in soon?

Of course there is a realistic possibility that we add 2 more teams. the revenue gap between the SEC & B1G, versus the ACC with eventually cause some exodus out of the ACC. The only real question for me is when, now that is a harder question to answer. I think if Slive had his druthers, he would prefer to wait until the SEC Network is up and running before the add more teams.

Keep trying. Perhaps we can sway A&M and Missouri. Who knows? But it is what it is and this point. Just much tougher to go unscathed with LSU's slate that with some of the other team's schedules.

I don't have perceived inequalities, you do.

You see, I was present in the following years when Alabama played the teams some of you seem to fear.

Bama played:
2008 UGA (win) FLA (loss)
2009 UGA (win) SoCarl (win) FLA (win)
2010 FLA (win) SoCarl (loss)
2011 FLA (win)
2012 UGA (win)

That's 9 (NINE) match-ups against UGA/SoCarl/FLA in the last five years.

Bama has played their fair share of the East "powers" as well as the best of the West. I'm damn sure not about to appologize or make concessions for a 61-7 record, with 3 BCSNC's in that time frame.

LSU has just played more of them.
