Can’t win a National Championship every year...even though it seems like we can...I’m not too worried.

1st Scrimmage after the 1st week of practice and you already know other teams are further along? Wow... I'm sure you have your reasons for concern or you have the big reel out.. but this is the same OL that looked pretty solid in the spring.. IJS

Anyone who thinks this season is worthless without a NC, despite how many games we'll probably win, needs serious psychological help. Be proud of what we've accomplished. If we accomplish more, that's great. But it's not the fricking end of the world if we don't win the NC.

That was one of my biggest concerns at the beginning of the scrimmage - before they even had a chance to frick up in pass protection. They were getting zero push against our 2nd team defensive line.

Yeldon and Drake both had some really nice runs, but most of their best runs were because they made a nice cut, made someone miss, or broke a tackle. Very unimpressive.

You were right. And I'm thinking 2 losses as well, just based on my feelings. LSU and some team we'd never expect (but not A&M).

I'm feeling Ole Miss this year. They return a lot of talent, add a lot, and played us tough last year. They were top three I think in the conference last year in sacks, now they add RN. That's gonna be a dog fight if the OL isn't up to par. I don't see LSU or A&M beating us, but I'm thinking Ole Miss will now. We can't afford to lose though, despite GSU being the FBS, they're essentially still an FCS team to the computers. One loss and we can kiss a threepeat goodbye.

We have gotten so good we have to troll our own fanbase.

Who was the second team DL anyway?

Lake and Tomlinson I'm guessing were two of the three.

Also, how did Trey do?

No one said it was but when you have built NC expectations that is what people want

I have come to the conclusion that we will lose at least 2 games.

Our Offensive line looked like hot garbage.

Yeah. They're mostly new. That's what happens. Seriously, what did you expect?

I'm always baffled by people who think you never lose a step when you lose most of a starting unit. Kind of like the sunshine pumpers who thought UA would be undefeated in 2010 after losing 8 or 9 defensive starters from the year before. It was never going to happen.

OL was my biggest concern with corners second but geez if they had pushed our DL around we'd be fussing that our DL sucks. They just started fall camp give them time to work together and gel.

Anybody thinking they wouldn't go through growing pains after losing Chance Warmack, DJ Fluker, and Barrett Jones was fooling themselves... It's highly doubtful that they'll be bad all season, but they're definitely going to have to gel to give Alabama a chance to get back to the title game. And lord help the Alabama offense if AJ McCarron gets hurt due to bad pass protection.

One thing to keep in mind though, is that Alabama will also lose Cyrus Kouandjio and Anthony Steen at the end of this season. It will be a complete overhaul of the offensive line from 2012.

Yeah, me. Why? Because expecting anything less than the best possible outcome is a sorry arse way to live. If you see it differently, fine, but don't go firing shots over the internet. You're an adult, please act like it.

Alabama has plenty of scrimmages to break everyone in this season. No worries!

I didn't expect them to look like the best offensive line of all time... but I did expect them to protect AJ long enough for him to complete at least one pass in 3rd down situations against our first team defense.

LSU won it all with two loses and that was without the help of ESPN.

I am not worried.
