For the record, the largest margin of victory in a bowl game was 51 points.

Texas A&M 65

Alabama won the 1953 Orange Bowl 61-6. That's just an OB record, so there must be a bigger win out there somewhere.

ETA - 2008 GMAC Bowl - Tulsa 63; Bowling Green 7.

95 Nebraska is the goat, so we should get a pass.

I do not think I have ever been so wrong about a football game. I lost a lot of $ that day...

Nebraska figured out how to cover that seam stuff and stop the run at the same time...

Think about this too, they beat us (#2) 62-24 and we beat UT (#3) 62-37. Just shows how scary that team was.

What was the final score of the Oklahoma/Auburn Sugar Bowl in 1971? The same year Nebraska crushed Alabama in the Orange Bowl.

I thought the final was 49-14...

Did Auburn score late to make it not look so bad?

If I rememmber correctly is was either 28-0 or 35-0 at the half...

Nebraska and Oklahoma that year were the most dominant pair of college football teams I have ever seen in one year....

more so than LSU and Alabama last year...

There's a bunch of different bowl losses by large score differentials, but I think the most embarrassing is the uga loss ucf in '10. I don't think ucf was even a top 25 team until after that bowl game, plus the obvious point is that they are in a smaller conference.

1972 Sugar Bowl ended 40-22 OU over auburn... OU was up 31-0 at the half and called off the dogs...

It was 40-7 before Auburn scored two TDs to make it appear respectable...

Interestingly, Oklahmoa amde 1 of 6 extra points in the game...

Haha, what? That makes Tennessee's kickers look downright competent.

Interesting that Arkansas' greatest bowl margin of victory and defeat:

Both came against Oklahoma.

Both were in Orange Bowls.

Not sure if a 45-6 loss will ever be topped.

What's the second worst loss in SEC history? Might be LSU's to Oklahoma in the '50 Sugar.
