After 7 games heads up, there is no doubt who has the better baseball team.

Ole Miss has played Arkansas now 5 times in what people say is the toughest place to play for opposing teams, Baum stadium. The Rebels have won 3 of those games, 2 in convincing fashion(10-5 and 13-5). The Rebs and Hogs have met twice in Hoover with Arkansas managing a split in those tourney games. Ole Miss has already beaten Arkansas once in an elimination type game, by a 3-2 score in a nailbiter. Not one of the 8 games played between the teams will have had anything resembling a home field advantage for Ole Miss, yet they have the upper hand in head to head. Ole Miss is simply the superior team. The fact that if Arkansas manages a 8 game split with Ole Miss with most played in the friendly confines of Baum, and advances to Omaha today, Ole Miss will look back on the sweep suffered to state, and losing 2 of 3 to UT, or losing a 7 inning double header to Kentucky as why we failed to advance. In no way will it be because Arkansas was the better team. The better team debate has already been decided way before todays game gets played.

If OM had still finished ahead of State in the standings it wouldn't sound silly at all.

Both Ole Miss and Arkansas has squads worthy of Omaha. Just a monumental challenge Ole Miss faces. I feel good about getting it done today.

It makes no sense how a fan of a team who three weeks ago didn’t give a frick (after losing a series to the vols) and wanted their coach fired honestly believes his team is better than a NC runner up and top 5 (literally) team. Ole Miss baseball fans do not know baseball

There is no point in arguing with him. He doesn’t realize how dumb his take is. Because LSU beat us at home they are the better. Nevermind the fact we have way more talent this year. They are better because they beat us. Like the dumb arse doesn’t realize baseball doesn’t work like football.

I’d say it’s even. Arkansas and Mississippi state have traded home sweeps 4 years in a row now. Both extremely good teams. We were picked to finish 6th in the west this year so we definitely weren’t supposed to be where we are.
