agreed, I think that it will take time for him to adjust and Arkansas isn't that talented, but the system is great for QBs

I agree with Ryan Mallet. He's tall, strong, physical, has a world class John Elway arm, good leader, and he's fearless. With good enough coaching, which he's got, he'll end up being in the top 3 in the SEC and top 10 in the NFL in a few years I hope

Assuming Snead stays put, I'd have him as #1 QB in the SEC in 2010. Jefferson, Mallett, McElroy, Brantley, Garcia...any of those could be #2 or even challenge Snead for #1.

is that right? so doyou have wilson in the top 2 since he will be beating out mallet?

you said:

I actually think Wilson will end up starting by the Ole Miss game b/c Mallet can't handle SEC defenses and the pressures that come with being an SEC QB

Nice catch I'd forgotten about that, but why cause trouble when it looks like he's returning from the Darkside?

Wilson beating out Mallet is what I think will happen. Wilson was not even recruited by the last staff. He was headed to Tulsa to play for Gus. It remains to be seen how Wilson can transform to a prostyle system. the only recent situation we've seen of a staff doing that is?

Yeah...Wilson is the only QB in the SEC that played in a spread offense in HS and plays a pro-style in college...
