Hey...I am needing to talk to an Alabama person (Auburn or Alabama) about a lake in Alabama. I am guessing maybe Lanier Spots, might be the person? Wife and I are looking at lake front property and Lake Wedowee looks like a lake that isn't sky high cost wise.

I haven't been an Alabama person since about 96 and not much of a lake person either. Lanier may be your best bet although not sure what eh knows about that one.

Thanks. I'll see if I can track him down. We have looked at Wedowee (Which seems to have very reasonable prices for lots) and Weiss Lake, which is reasonable, but still more expensive than Wedowee. That's why I have questions. Why is Wedowee so inexpensive? I'll see if I can track down Lanier.

Thanks!

I repeat... Alabama has as many weapons as UGA has, and you can shove your stars.

We have more RB's than you have that have done it in a game. We have more RB's that have done it against YOU.

We have a very very good O line coming back, as good if not better than yours including several that played in a winning effort against YOU.

QB..Tua beat you. Hurts got us to the game. Tua played snaps in several games during the season so yes we do have two PROVEN QB's, including two that did it against YOU.

TE..The very same TE's Irv Smith and Hale Hentges that played against you last year are back as are their backups. PROVEN talents, on the field against YOU and all season stars be damned.

WR..Devonta Smith. Henry Ruggs, and Jerry Jeudy all had huge catches against YOU. 6'6 Tyrell Shavers, 6'5 Derek Kief..the name to watch out for is Jaylen Waddle. This guy is special.

You saying Tua is not proven? I don't think he has anything more to prove to the UGA Nation so go suck those sour grapes Leghumper.

Why are you acting like you blew UGA out? It was a bomb in OT that decided the game on blown coverage. You were whooped the first half. Should we pretend UGA is better because of just that first half?

Dismissing UGA's talent is a pretty popular Alabama talking point these days

UGA lost too much from last year.

AU is going to give UGA another regular season beating, just gonna be in Athens this year. UGA should still make it to Atl though.

Only chance UGA has is if an extremely beat to hell AU or Bama shows up in Atl after a brutal iron bowl and lays an egg like AU last year.

Could happen again I suppose.

And there it is. It only took 4 sentences for the excuses to rain down.

Tell me...how many injuries did Auburn have in the past 15 years against Georgia? Tons?

Has Auburn had a big road win since 2010?

Man! You can tell football season is really close, the anger of hot fingers typing away on the keyboards to make a point of who will win and lose has multiplied!! I love college football!!

The reason I capitalized YOU was to prove a point. Ours have done it in crunch time and did it on the field against UGA. We have 3 RB's that played when it mattered vs UGA coming back and 5 that logged considerable game time during the season.

NOBODY has more solid running backs then Bama will have this upcoming season and with a downfield passing game to back off DB's they will be even more effective.

Then I guess we just have to say UGA choked.

Bama had a huge talent advantage in 2017, so no choke.

Fine. But you said you had two QB's do it against us. So, we know Tua did....who was the other one?

Are all 5 coming back this season? I mean, we had 5 that carried the ball last season, and three of those is coming back. Damien Harris is great. But, our next three RB's carried the ball more than yours did, so to say you have more with experience is wrong. Now, that has nothing to do with how good they are. Alabama's might very well be better. But we have as many RB's with as much experience outside of Damien Harris.

Now you are just sounding lik a homer. Because behind our three RB's thta ahs more experience than yours, we brought in the #1 RB in the country and the #4 RBN in the country, so yes...we do have more solid RB's. Or at the very least, they are as solid.

I understand, and I agree. But I would also say that our downfield passing game is going to be greatly imporved, too. We just picked up another 5* WR from transfer, to go with the WR (Hardman) that caught a 80 yard TD against Alabama, Riley Ridley and Terry Godwin (5* WR)

You seem to be under the impression we don't have any weapons. We are just as deep at RB and WR as Alabama, and like I pointed out, we are deeper at TE. The only question mark is QB, and we both have excellent QB's.

Look, I am not saying we have a better team than Alabama. We still have a year or so before we can start hoping for that. but if you think we are not closing the gap, you are kidding yourself.

All 5 are coming back. Damien Harris has the most experience but you conveniently forget who came in and had some big runs when the game was on the line vs UGA. Najee Harris. Not garbage time. Can your guys say that? I think not.

Josh Jacobs played a lot of ball all year during crunch time, NOT garbage time, when it mattered. He had some carries and pass receptions vs UGA also. Experience matters more than stars. Your returnees did none of this.

Brian Robinson is a big strong young back that played during the year and he might be as good as any of them. Ronnie Clark is a 5th year Senior who played too and because of the logjam will go to H Back. Jerome Ford is an incoming Freshman the number 6 all purpose back in the nation rated by 247 Sports.

I didn't say you had no weapons. But you lost a lot more than we did. The heart and soul of that running game.

As far as QB 's go......no our starter didn't have a good game. After the third quarter neither did yours.

Not sure if serious.

Ask Najee Harris and Tua if Georgia thinks either of them are "elite"?

You won't hear me argue. Chubb couldn't do shite against y'all in that second half but Sony remained on the sideline. Then, in OT, I'm not sure there's a better definition of "choke" than to watch the secondary completely blow coverage on a 3rd and 20something.

Of course, that last FG in regulation by you guys was a pretty big choke job, too.

There never should have been an OT and on the kick I have to admit you are right.
