My oldest was off campus today and I had to convince him that driving into campus to come get his brother was a terrible idea.
Son that was on campus is still locked in a classroom, school still hasn't given an all clear yet

Law enforcement is saying the lockdown is technically still in effect (including for surrounding school systems), but that "legally they can't keep them there," and people are leaving.

ehh nothing about nerf guns look like real guns. That's not the problem.
the problem are the fake reports and how it seems to be happening all over. Which means it's a plan. It used to be that places like 4Chan started this kind of stupid stuff.

Not sure what the law would say on that. Likely no charge but stupid. Kind of like those people that walk around legally with rifles in some states in areas with people just to show they legally can.
