quote:agree Miami you can see it and fsu has financial
They would be a better fit, the SEC would upgrade
Issues but they actually try to be as competitive as possible

Must be those same sources that said CJS would lose all of his good players to Texas. What a clown you are, no offense to clowns.

no fricking chance. We left the ACC for a reason. Our board of trustees is the worst board in history, but they also are all old farts who were in college when we left the ACC due to to Tobacco road.

So the pitch is “abandon your multiple rivals, superior tv deal and massive financial advantages with your old conference and come to ours where other schools are suing to leave so you might not lose as much!”?
ehh this one I will disagree with. We have more rivals in the ACC, but the rest of it...yeah

They can have 2 of these 3. Zou, Texas or Aggy.

Anyone else hear this rumor?
This guy works for 247 but haven’t seen this anywhere else. Doesn’t make sense to leave the SEC.
It is nonsense. Crap thrown out there to try and grab attention on Twitter.

If there is any truth at all to this - and I very much doubt there is - then that's a pretty big tell that the SEC is planning to add Clemson and either FSU or Miami in the near future. That's about the only thing that I think could make UF and SC "disgruntled."
UF has backed FSU getting into the SEC on multiple occasions.

FSU would, as would programs like Clemson, but Miami...no..they are in no way an SEC program at all..they can't even get their own football stadium. Their fans and alumni do not care.
Not sure how either would be better for the SEC than UF though..considering we usually have a top ten athletics program in the country and we are one of the very, very, very few schools that have titles in all 3 major mens sports.

exactly the UAA sees that any money we make from the tv contract gets eaten up by paying players to try to be somewhat competitive in this conference
I don’t believe that tv contract money can be used for NIL, that goes to the athletics dept.

Ga Tech and Florida and Miami would always be welcomed in the B1G

That seems like a very far drive. No more road games ever.

You think that’s far. They took the West coast schools. Might as well be in British Columbia or Alaska
