you leave out their QB Dungy was injured that season

And Clemson QB Kelly Bryant started game hurt with sprained ankle and then was knocked out with concussion.

There's a difference in "white knighting" and point out the facts.

Just off the top of my head, you both scored 52 on Georgia Tech, you had 24 on A&M, they had 19.

He isn't white Knighting for anybody. He's making valid points...unlike you.

Their beat down last season really left a mark, didn't it?

Starting to ease into that lil’ol Clemson excuse phenomena as this thread expands. Perhaps you should place the keyboard to the side for a nap.

Wow. A 5 and 8 loss team beat you because one player was missing each time? Clemson=soft.

lol I understand that....it doesn't make sense to talk about their overall season record without mentioning his injury issues. He was a difference maker for the Cuse and they haven't been the same since.

if he wasn't a tough runner, Clemson would have won that game even with Bryant going down.

That reaks of lil’ol Clemson excuse making. You are proving my point. You boys just cannot help yourself. Self-awareness is a blessing. Pray for it.

they were 5-8 b/c Dungy was hurt most of that season. it's not an excuse.

No objective person who watched that game thinks Syracuse was a bad team.

We had a bad game, no doubt. Kind of like that Pittsburgh and Syracuse games, right?

They had like three losses before they beat y'all and he played in those games so your exuse doesn't make sense.

Those Pitt and Syracuse teams were far better than SC last year on offense. I believe SC played their 3rd or 4th string QB in that game against UGA too.

Pitt was one of the leading scoring teams in the country that year and also beat Penn State. LSU hired their OC.

Only 1/3 facets of the game.

SC has been one of the weakest defenses that Clemson has seen the past few years which has been one of the most surprising things about the Muschamp era at SC.

Crap dude.....Dungey played in 9 games and had 377 pass attempts. What is your definition of "hurt most of the season"?

Syracuse played 12 games and he played in 9 of them, but he was hurt most of the season.

Well, with their QB playing they were 4-5....but i guess by ACC standards that is pretty good.
