That would be good for the ACC to add Nebraska and ND...You'd go from being the weakest conference to the 2nd weakest.

ND will remain independent. The only reason they did a semi-tie in to the ACC is they wanted to give a certain amount of credibility to their football schedule by playing a semi conference schedule but with a conference with overall weak teams. They can continue to play their traditional rivals (USC and Michigan) and not have to play a tough conference schedule. This year it backfires on them because they have a crappy schedule and if they lose one game (Clemson) it will put them out of the playoff hunt.
They can make more money on their own than if they join the ACC.
Sorry if this hurts your feelings, but it is true. If it were not true, they would have joined the ACC fully earlier.

Except one team does not a conference make. But you don't seem to be able to comprehend that. Only one team has made the playoffs from the ACC, and that fact torpedoes your point.
