Beginning to remind me of Tom Hermann at Texas. Got rid of all 10 assistant coaches and brought 6 dorks in with him from Houston.

Both did weird emotional things-Tom Herman kissing players Deboer crying all the time.
Both thought they were smarter than everyone else and brought their crew along with them.
At least Tom was in Mensa.

Arrogant coaches who are lazy recruiters and just let their genius systems win games like Dan Mullen and Paul Johnson have always been my favorites.

He seems to be wanting to separate from Coach Saban. I understand trying to make your mark. Maybe he will win more than Coach Saban.
But it can't be good for immediate recruiting/portal needs.
