It was a record that was bound to be broken. It is worth pointing out that Wuerffel did not play as often early in his career as Murray did and that Wuerffel threw 114 TD's with only 1170 attempts. Murray is already up to 1213 attempts in his career and will likely need another hundred or two to pass the record.

Can Murray win a game that REALLY matters. There's the stat that he can't seem to overcome. All the yards in the world are great but you gotta win one that means something. I'm not talking about the annual SEC pretender South Carolina or once great Florida. I mean a Bama or LSU.

We're all wondering the same thing. Personally, I think it's his year. So far, he's looked solid in every game this season. Yes, even against Clemson.
